Translations and Internationalization (I18N)
This page contains translations which have ever been started and they are either partially or fully complete; you can become a translator for one of the listed languages or for a new one (upon your suggestion) if such translation is unassigned or if the current mantainer is no more reachable.
Note: if your translation is of very poor quality the translation will be re-assigned, so be sure to know English or another well-translated language before asking for application!
You can currently apply for maintenance of a translation on our Translations forums: open a new topic or post to the default one.
All translators (and also translation testers and helpers) are strongly invited to subscribe to the i18n mailing list (read subscription instructions at http://lists.laniuscms.org/); such list is used to announce important news relative to internationalization and translation.
To summarize, there are two ways to mantain a Lanius CMS translation:
- downloading the SVN tarball (see news), fixing/updating it and submitting it via the Packages submission service (see these news)
- directly using SVN
We do prefer method 2, so if you can use SVN please tell us; each SVN user will receive an email with SVN instructions.
Please also read the I18N Manual.
As a translation mantainer you are also invited to inform the I18N Team Manager about your progress and problems and eventually to inform about your termination of collaboration
IMPORTANT NOTE: you should use the latest revision either checking it out via SVN or downloading an SVN tarball (as reported here).
Note: your translation will appear on this list only when the first version has been committed to SVN
